Automotive Photography - Las Vegas

When you sell a car, most of the people looking at it won't see it in person before they decide. They see the listing. The photos have to do what a walk-around would: every panel, the interior, the engine bay, and the flaws. If a buyer can see the scratch on the rear bumper in the gallery, they trust the rest of the photos more, and you get fewer questions.

Auctions work the same way with less time. Bidders are often in another state, and the gallery is most of what they have to go on before the auction closes.

Some cars you keep. Good photos of a car you've owned for years are worth having while it's still yours, and they double as a record of its condition for insurance or before a restoration.

At a car show or Cars and Coffee, you washed it, detailed it, and drove it over early on a Saturday. Photos of the car there, with people around it, are hard to take yourself while you're standing next to it answering questions.

For clubs and organizers

If you run a car club, a Cars and Coffee, or a meetup, the photos from this event are what people look at when they decide whether to come to the next one. Your members share them. Before the event, we go over the layout, when people usually arrive, and which cars or moments matter to you. I photograph the cars and the people around them, and you get a gallery to share with your members.

What a shoot is like

It starts with what you have in mind. Tell me about the car and what the photos are for, and we'll plan the shoot around that. A listing needs every angle a buyer would check. A shoot for you is more about the place and the light, like the desert at sunset, a parking garage at night, or your driveway. You choose the location, or we work one out together, and we set a time that suits the light. On the day, I take as long as the car needs. Delivery depends on the size of the shoot and is never more than two weeks.
